The United Nations today decried what appears to be a game of international tit-for-tat.

In the wake of well publicized bans of burqas, minarets, education opportunities and sanity, Ban Ki-Moon, secretary general of the UN, calls for a halt to such tactics, calling them divisive and counter-productive.

Copy-cat bans have sprung up world-wide.  The United States has banned Cuban Spanish.  Cuba has banned shaving.  Canada is studying a ban on bad accents.  Korea has recently banned Ariel Rounded MT Bold and Sweden has banned banning.
